1. Mosquito – Most Deadliest Animal
Mosquitoes make number one on the list of most dangerous and deadliest animal in world. This small bloodsucking insect kills 2 million to 3 million people each year worldwide. It is the transmitter of the malaria parasite, the yellow fever, west nile virus and the dengue fever. Mosquitoes are found in abundance in tropical areas and can also survive the winter in countries with lower temperatures such as Canada. There are over 3,000 types of mosquitoes and all have the ability to transfer population killing diseases. Thanks to its ability to spread diseases with an alarming efficiency, the mosquito makes its way into #1.
2. Don Jelly Fish
The Box Jellyfish (also known as a Sea Wasp) is a very dangerous creature to inhabit Australian waters. It only weighs 4.5 pounds, it has 15 tentacles that can reach up to 10 feet. Their venom emits a glow that will scare off other sea creatures. They feed on shrimps, small fishes, and other box jellyfish. The Jellyfish has extreme toxins present on its tentacles, which when in contact with a human, can stop cardio-respiratory functions in as little as three minutes. It has tentacles covered with cnidocysts that produce nematocysts. As it pierces through the skin and enters the wound, it will cause blood pressure elevation, cardiac arrest, and eventually, death upon the victim.
3. Inland Taipan Snake
Inland Taipan, also called as fierce snake or small scaled snake, is known to be the most venomous snake to crawl the surface of the earth. The venom from one bite is enough to kill 100 fully grown men. The Inland Taiwan’s extremely neurotoxic venom can kill an adult human in as little as 45 minutes. It is, however, very rare for humans to be bitten and in the few cases that have occurred, anti-venom treatment has been successful. This snake exhibits dramatic seasonal changes in skin colour. It is light in summer and dark in winter and this helps regulate its body temperature.
4. African Elephant
The African Elephant has loads and loads of brute strength. It also happens to be the largest and most powerful animal in the world having zero predators. It lives in the bushes and forests of Africa and also found in some parts of Asia. Elephants are famous for their friendly outlook and memory. The Rage in elephants rises once in a blue moon but it is really grave. They are extremely smart and have long memories brought about by their massive 11-pound brain. They can hear anyone coming from afar because of their big ears. They can smell anything and anyone from a mile away. Although elephants are herbivores, they nevertheless pose a threat to the humans especially when they trample on their houses in the villages. Elephants are said to kill around 600 people every year mainly through stamping.
5. Great White Shark
The Great White Shark looks like a formidable creature, reaching 20 feet in length and weighs over 2.5 tons. It is has zero natural predators and has 4 foot wide jaws which have up to 300 sharp and serrated teeth standing in a row it can bite us with nearly 4000 pounds of lethal force.. They are blessed with the sense of feeling blood under water which is armor for them beside their deadly teeth. The blood smell makes them excited. It can sense any action because of its sensory organ on the head called the Ampullae of Lorenzini. These sharks do not particularly target humans but most of their attacks are ‘test-bites’ where they are curious about how the human (an unfamiliar object for the shark) tastes. But of course its first bite is enough to kill a man.
